Our Telesales Reps are a critical part of our Sales function. They’re the first point of contact for our on-trade customers (pubs, clubs, etc). We’re on the hunt for an enthusiastic and confident Representative to join the team.
So what’s involved?
You can expect to be on the phone for most of the day – dealing with large volumes (250+) inbound and outbound calls every week. You’ll have great listening and communication skills and will use those to build great rapport with customers and leave them feeling good about partnering with Tennents.
You’ll be helping customers stay fully stocked, by taking fresh orders for beer, cider, wine, etc. You’ll highlight new promotions and new products and always make sure that we provide a great service.
This isn’t a traditional call centre environment, so it’s not highly structured and scripted. You’ll be expected to follow core processes, and will be using our in-house systems to track sales and orders. But a big part of the job is the confidence to drive sales with enthusiasm and integrity.
What you’ll need:
- Experience of working in a sales-driven role
- Familiarity with the drinks trade, e.g. bartending experience
- Good organisational skills and great attention to detail
- Fantastic communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport over the phone
- The ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
Who you’ll be:
Tenacious. You’re motivated to do a great job and deliver brilliant results. As a friendly, positive team-mate, your enthusiasm and flexibility helps motivate the people around you. You love being in a busy, dynamic environment.
Trusted. You’re conscientious about doing things well. When you say you’ll do something, your colleagues know it’ll get done. You take responsibility for your actions, and make the safety and welfare of the whole team your biggest priority.
Tempted. You look for opportunities to learn new things, and actively seek out ways to continually improve things at work. You’ll be able to give examples of times when you’ve seen opportunities to improve and shared ideas on how to solve problems.
True. You know that you’re a key part of a wider team, and build strong relationships with colleagues that are based on mutual respect. You keep the big picture in mind, and enjoy working as part of a team to achieve a common goal.
Does this sound like you?
Send us a CV that demonstrates that you’ve got the skills and experience we’re looking for. And we promise to come back to you as soon as we can.
