Senior Commercial Finance Analyst - Secondment

 

About the role

 

You'll partner the C&C Commercial Finance and Marketing teams, providing insight and adding value to commercial decisions made by the respective teams. Regularly requires close working with colleagues across the wider GB business to ensure a joined up GB view. Assisting the Head of Finance and Head of Agency in reporting agency brand performance across GB C&C business units.

You'll be working with the Head of Finance, taking ownership of adhoc requests that come in from the Commercial Director, Marketing Director and their direct reports. Along with reporting and managing the supplier income month end and reporting on variances to forecast/budget across C&C GB.

Our Commmercial Finance Manager will be responsible for preparing the quarterly forecast and annual budget numbers for supplier income, and review of Std cost recovery and Commercial and Marketing cost centre overheads. This requires working closely with the relevant business owners throughout the forecasting/budgeting timetable to deliver a cohesive number. This role has Line Management responsibility for the Commercial Finance Analyst within the Commercial & Marketing team. Training can be provided for those with no previous experience leading and developing a team member.

 

What you'll do

 

Key finance support in the annual Cost of Goods review, working closely with the Head of Finance, Pricing Manager and Commercial team to model and understand impacts of decisions.

You'll be the key finance contact for SalesOut (contracts held with supplier partners relating to sale of sales data). Revenue stream forms part of supplier income number.

Responsible for preparing finance input for the monthly Financial Demand Review (FDR) pack for the Commercial Director. Key reporting and governance pack covering all areas, finance and non-finance, that fall under the Commercial Directors responsibility.
