Our Technical and Innovation group is the hub of NPD and process improvements across the business.  Their Project Governance team provide oversight and advice to project managers to ensure that projects related to Own Label and Branded products are defined and managed as efficiently as possible. These projects tend to span multiple teams across our Commercial and Operations divisions across C&C Group. At any given time, there are 70-80 active projects across the Group.


We’re looking for someone to join us as a Project Governance Coordinator, to help us effectively document and track project activity across the Group. The candidate can be based in Glasgow or Clonmel.



So what’s involved?


This role is all about coordinating project activities related to new product lines and brand changes, by helping project managers and key stakeholders clearly define their goals, actions and appropriate stage-gates. The goal is to get new products and product changes rolled out smoothly and efficiently, by ensuring that everyone involved has clarity on what is being delivered, what timescales are involved, and what actions are needed make it happen.


We use a system called Q-Pulse to help us log and track all our ongoing projects. You’ll become a Q-Pulse super-user and ensure that the system is always up to date. You’ll use Q-Pulse data to track the progress of our live projects and ensure that all the correct due diligence has been completed at each stage of the process.


You may also find yourself acting as the Project Manager on some of our smaller projects, allowing you to develop your own project management skillset and knowledge.  But ultimately you’ll be working with our Project Governance Manager to embed a rigorous set of standards for effective project planning and delivery.


This is a terrific role that will give you a wide overview of our business and an extensive network of people throughout the business. You’ll also be making a real impact on our ability to get product changes and launches out into the market.




What you’ll need:


  • Ideally you’ll have some experience of working in FMCG, ideally in the drinks industry
  • Some exposure to formal project management frameworks would be great.
  • You’ll be a highly organised person with a background in administration and business systems (e.g. Q-Pulse)
  • You’ll have the ability to positively influence stakeholders to make sure that they are all meeting their obligations on their projects
  • You’ll have a passion to deliver good results, and go the extra mile
  • Willing to travel occasionally – usually between C&C Group sites in the UK and Ireland, or to supplier sites.
