HR Advisor (GB Operations)
Maternity Cover - 11 Months
C&C Group plc is a premium drinks company which owns, manufactures, markets and distributes a unique portfolio of beer and cider brands in our home markets and across the globe.
We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor, to support our operations team on a fixed-term basis to cover upcoming maternity leave. Working in Wellpark Brewery in Glasgow you’ll work closely with the HR Business Partner to support the growth of our people and our business.
The role will ideally commence in August 2021 and deliver professional and proactive support until July 2022.
So what’s involved?
You will play an integral part of the operations people team, and will be the go-to contact for managers and employees who need support so you will be confident providing quick and accurate advice.
You’ll build strong relationships and will support the management team to ensure our people are performing at their very best and are developing and growing to beyond their potential.
You will support the HR Business Partner to embed meaningful initiatives in the operations business unit and will be curiously listening to feedback from our colleagues, to assess how our initiatives and processes are supporting our people and will have a keen eye for spotting ways that we can improve our employee experience.
This is a fast paced and highly business facing role so you will immerse yourself in all things operations and will do your best work when collaborating with other people with infectious enthusiasm and credibility.
What you’ll need:
- Experience of working as a HR generalist in a fast-moving organisation (experience working with unions would be ideal!)
- A progressive, non-bureaucratic approach to HR
- A focus on business outcomes
- Good analytical skills and tech savvy
- Ability to challenge leaders to make the right decisions
- Common sense – always spots opportunities to simplify and improve processes to drive better results.
